Cholera Vaccination
The cholera vaccine is administered orally as a drink rather than an injection.
Adults and Children Over 6 Years
• Two doses are required
• Doses are usually taken 1–6 weeks apart
• Protection can last for up to two years
Children Aged 2–6 Years
• Three doses may be required
• Additional booster doses may be recommended depending on future travel plans
For best protection, the vaccination course should be completed at least one week before departure.
